One of the more colorful (and little known) episodes was a somewhat shortlived career as a circus sideshow performer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some people love cowboys and other people love burlesque shows, so bringing the two groups together in a cowboy burlesque show seemed like a ticket to Easy Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To cut a long story short, despite a traditional, rather beautiful, handpainted sideshow banner, the idea did not really take off and, to this day, I wonder why.
