The Connection

Original release British Quad movie poster, extremely rare. Peter Strausfeld created hundreds of movie posters, mainly for the Academy Cinemy in London. This is my personal favorite among his design, partly due to the infamous, but beautiful tagline 'Men held captive by the Power of Drugs'. The film is a classic of 'cinema verité', starring Warren Finnerty, Carl Lee and The Freddie Redd Quartet. Directed by Shirley Clarke.
